Orient Express Bk files new 9 bln rbl suit vs Calvey, Baring Vostok

MOSCOW, Nov 13 (PRIME) -- The Amur Region Arbitration Court registered on Wednesday an 8.8 billion ruble lawsuit of Orient Express Bank, controlled by Finvision of businessman Artyom Avetisyan, against Evison, owned by fund Baring Vostok and Senior Partner of the fund Michael Calvey.

The matter of the claim was not disclosed.

The Amur Region Arbitration Court is already considering a more than 9.8 billion ruble case of the bank against Evision and Calvey.

In February, the Basmanny District Court of Moscow arrested Calvey and five other defendants for two months over an alleged 2.5 billion ruble embezzlement from Orient Express Bank. In April, Calvey was released under house arrest.
